
The Louvain School of Management, former IAG Management School, of Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) in Louvain-la-Neuve, was set up in 1898. It is a member of CEMS, a prestigious association of international management schools, and has long standing experience in executive education and is EQUIS accredited. It closely cooperates with three other top Belgian universities (FUCAM, Mons; FUNDP, Namur; FUSt-Louis, Brussels) and with ICHEC Brussels Management School.
HEC Liege Executive School is a continuous learning service of HEC-ULg Management School. Its central purpose is developing, delivering and organizing management courses. It works with renowned scientists from the University of Liège and other universities as well as with a large number of working professionals and consultants recognized in the business world of SMEs and large enterprises.
For 52 years ABCAL groups individuals who assume the purchasing,logistics and Supply Chain function in large or small, private or public organizations in Wallonia and Brussels. ABCAL organizes information sessions which provide opportunities to our members of meeting other professionals and sharing experiences.
The association is representative of French-speaking purchasing and logistics managers in Belgium and defends their interest in bodies such as « Logistics in Wallonia », for instance. ABCAL has been contributing to the launching of the present EMISCM program. For purchasing managers and for lower levels of qualifi cations of logisticians it organizes training programs on its own or with other partners. Finally, it hosts the local execution of the central ECBL certifi cation exam process. ABCAL is a member of ELA, ECBL and IFPSM. .
PICS Belgium, a non-profit organisation, is a professional association for practice-oriented logistics, established in 1972. PICS Belgium is the Belgian logistical association, which is officially an affiliate of the American APICS. Every member of PICS is automatically also a member of APICS. Both individual and company memberships are available within PICS.
Logistics in Wallonia is the Transport and Logistics Centre of Competence, created to promote the transport and logistics sector of Wallonia both within the country and abroad, by coordinating activities, by defining a common strategy and by optimising human and technological resources.
